Habitat seems like the place for this. LOL

Yesterday morning, about 36 hours ago, I removed a piece of driftwood from my CPD tank. I put it in an old 5 gallon hex that I use for soaking driftwood. There was no water in that hex, and I was just putting the driftwood there until I could set up a new tank today for some C. habrosus that are coming this week.

Just now, 36 hours later, I pulled the driftwood out of the hex and saw that there was about 1/4 inch of water that had drained off the wood in the bottom edge of the hex – it was on an uneven surface so the water had collected along one edge. And there swimming in the water was one of my CPDs! Alive! I put it back in the the CPD tank and it began to calmly swim around as if nothing had happened.

They may be shy, they may be finicky eaters, but they are TOUGH!
