Hi all,
I have a colony of 25 CPD’s in a 60 liter tetra tank. Approx 7 males the rest are female!!. Hopefully some time soon I will here the patter of tiny fins, thanks to all the information I have gathered from you guys.
The only previous egg layers I have attempted to breed (successfully) are tiger barbs and Zebra Danios.
All my CPD’s are looking fully coloured up with 1 male being exceptoinally bright with a bright red underbelly. 4 or 5 of the females seem to be gravid, hopefully a sign of imminent egg laying.
I am planning on leaving all my cpd’s in the same tank as the fry, if this is wise, advise probobly needed on this.
I also have in the same tank 4 neon tetras and 6 ember tetras. If this is a mistake let me know as soon as posible.
Also any top tips on photo taking would be good as all my attempts seem to be blurred or too dark (without flash).
Again thanks to all you guys on this forum. You are all doing a wonderful job with your advise.
