Un-healthy Juveniles?

I just got my six (even though i paid for eight) CPD’s today. They are small, dont have adult color, vary grealy in size….and unfotunately condition. :cry: 2 swim in a awkward up ward fashion and although i know these fish have a curved back, some looked overly hunched….. I saw a thread with health juv pic but cant find it…can anyone give me the link? Thanks…
Where did you buy your fish from?? i would be tempted to take them back and ask for better fish or your money back. Please dont try to breed from any fish with deformities, they will pass them on to the fry and eventually produce very poor quality stock.
I got them from a friend of an aqquaintance(sry its spelled wrong) at a speciality store in my area. Oh i plan on it! im getting my money back on all the unhealthy ones AND they fish i never recieved. I want better fish but i dont think they have any more….. the fish didnt come frmo a supplier, just a guys thats been keeping fish fro a long time in their aquarium club. Oh dont worry, i would NEVER breed an unfit fish, i study alot of genetics in school so i know what happens…..the people who do that are cruel. :cry: The good news is that one fish is very healthy and active (he must of been hiding yesterday) and he also has the potential for great colors when they come in.
