when people sign up how long does it take for there account to be activated? (i carnt remember)

if you was to make it 24 hours before they could post them spam bots might leave it alone as from what i see they log on and post there and then. if you was to provide a link to the site on the activation email it shouldnt affect the genuine members as they would only have click the link

Thanks Chris.

I am looking into some other (secret) options as well. I’ve been monitoring the behavior of the spammers and their content, so soon I should have more solutions in place.
